Plus size star of Precious has talent

There are too few movies where the leading lady is plus sized but I am happy to say that we can add another one to the small count. Precious, a film based on a book called Push by Sapphire is due out very soon if not already. The leading lady, Gabourey "Gabby" Sidibe is a plus size woman, but if you read this review by Mark Blankenship on the Huffington Post website, you will notice there is hardly mention of her size, just her amazing acting.

By the way, if you are planning to read the book or head off to see the film then don't read the review I mentioned above, it's full of spoilers.

Apparently there is some contraversy over the film so do take a look at the two sites I have mentioned.

Anyway, on to the star of the film, in this picture her outfit is good but to my mind does not flatter....

Though this picture is a lot better and I think shows her looking more comfortable and at ease...

And yes that is Mo'Nique along with Mariah Carey.

This picture was taken as she was on her way to the David Letterman show.
