Has Katie Price lingerie been dropped by ASDA?

I thought I had finished talking katie Price underwear. I must admit it has proved a very popular topic, each post I have made has lots of comments. However a recent comment made on 'Looking for Katie Price Lingerie?' says that ASDA has now dropped the models range.

Many who have left a comment did say that larger back and cup sizes would have been nice. However in general, readers have liked lingerie.

So is it true? Anyone else noticed a lack of Katie Price lingerie in their local ASDA?

Plus size lingerie from new UK retailer, KnixKnaxKnox

Got another UK plus size retailer for you, with the unusual name of KnixKnaxkKnox. They specialise in plus size lingerie. They carry some great brands such as Elegant Moments, Vertigineux, Shirleys of Hollywood, Dreamgirl, Allure Leather, Legs Avenue, Tatiana and more.

Simply Yours gets Gok Wan to check out your bra!

Simply Yours have got a great big event coming up at Manchester's stylish Cloud 23 in the Hilton Hotel. Next Wednesday, Gok Wan will be checking out bra's and offering cocktails at the Above Average Underwear Party. Sounds like a great place to be if only we could go.

The Above Average Underwear Party is being held in collaboration with Manchester radio station Key 103 and will be hosted by Chelsea Norris of the 'Toolan in the Morning' show and Gok Wan. 50 lucky Key 103 listeners and competition winners along with their friends will be invited to attend this exciting event.

Oola Rococo Bra and Short, as worn by Chloe Marshal

We like Oola lingerie, we like it a lot. Especially after hearing that Chloe Marshal likes them too. She was given the Rococo lace bra and matching short which looks very nice. Apparently she said...

“It is so important to get the right bra size. If you don’t then you’ll be very uncomfortable for most the day and if your bra isn’t right it can be look very unflattering. Oola lingerie is so comfortable and has an amazing fit so I not only feel fabulous. I look fabulous too”

Oola bra sizes go a lot further than the offerings by Katie Price. While her range is very pretty and gets a lot of attention, not really a range for the plus size women (see the comments on this article, Katie Price Lingerie - where is it?). Sizes are limited and not suitable for a wider back. Luckily Oola do go further by offering back sizes 38 to 48 and cups sizes B to G.

The best bit about the Oola Rococo lace bra and short is the price. The top half will cost you £30, available in purple or white. The bottom half is only £14, again in purple or white.

Real girls get real lingerie - oola la la

Selecting a bra can be a real problem, especially when you are, shall we say, amply provided? Trouble is when you take a look at a underwear in general, most of the models are stick thin with nothing up top to compare against.

One exception to the rule seems to be Oola Lingerie. The models are not typical of those you find on most sites. They seem to be real women. Take this really pretty girl...

She is wearing the Floreale embroidered Bra (was £28 now £22.40) and you can see she is a natural girl. Now if you wanted to see what those items would like on you, you can get a much better idea.

Gok Wan lingerie now at Simply Yours

You have to admit that Gok Wan has got something. I am not sure if you could actually put a finger on it but it he has it by the bucket load. Not content with TV work (How to look good naked, MTV shakedown etc) and magazine writing (Tatler, Marie Clair, Cosmo etc) but now he is on to his own lingerie range.

My friends at Simply Yours have dropped me a line letting me know about his new range of lingerie that he has crafted. To quote the press release...

I have always been impressed the way he treats us ladies, size is just not an issue with him. What ever your size he dresses to impress. I guess being overweight in his early years – 21 stone at the age of 20, has given him some insight and understanding.

Curvaceous Beauties is expanding

The credit crunch is biting not just in the UK but for most of the world. One company that does not seem to feel it though is Curvaceous Beauties. They have expanded to new premises and a new phone number.

Curvaceous Beauties deals with plus size lingerie (I have mentioned them many times before) and their website is too tempting, so I ask my hubby for his credit card but don't tell him why. He can find out when the parcel arrives!

The new number is (dialing direct in the UK), 020 8363 1857. The one advertised on the site will still work for a while, at least till the end of the year I was told.
